Project Location: Begins just south of the I-189 westbound and US 7 intersection and extends northerly along US 7 for 0.127 miles to end at the intersection of US 7 and the entrance for The Gateway Shopping Center. Work will take place on the existing concrete pavement slabs.

Project Description: VTrans will be rehabilitating the existing concrete roadway in an effort to improve the ride over the surface, and to extend the serviceable life of the concrete before major reconstruction is necessary. Treatment options will be evaluated during the design phase, though it is anticipated that work will include diamond grinding of the surface to improve smoothness and joint filling and repair using either a cementitious or asphaltic material. At this time, it is not anticipated that guardrail or signs will be included as part of the project.

Note: This project will be a composite contract with the concrete repair on the I-189 off ramp in Burlington, and on US-7/US-2 in Winooski.
