PROJECT LOCATION: Intersection of US Route 4 (BUS) & VT Route 4A in West Rutland.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is improving the signalized intersection to improve mobility and safety while upgrading obsolete and dysfunctional traffic signal equipment. The project will:

Modernize all traffic signal equipment including: traffic signal controller, signal heads and support structures and vehicle detection systems.
Replace the existing power supply.
Refresh traffic signal-related pavement markings and signs.
