RESURFACE VT113 IN CHELSEA, VERSHIRE, WEST FAIRLEE AND THETFORD, BEGINNING AT THE VT110/VT113 INTERSECTION AND EXTENDING EASTERLY 14.824 MILES TO THE INTERSECTION OF VT113/VT244.
Work to be performed under this project includes coarse-milling, reclaiming (FDR), correcting superelevation deficiencies, roadway grading with new gravel, resurfacing with intermediate and wearing courses of pavement, pavement markings, signage, guardrail, drainage and other highway related items.
The anticipated work sequence has been revised.
2021 construction season: Underdrain work will be completed for the entire 15-mile length of the project. Also, the entire project will be reclaimed to gravel, corrections made to alignment and elevation and then paved except for the final 1.5" wearing course. Ditching, guardrail, temporary line striping will occur by the December 2021 winter shutdown.
2022 construction season: All remaining work including ditching, minor ledge removal, guardrail adjustments, traffic signs, tree trimming, sideroad and driveway transitions, wearing course pavement and final line striping will be completed by October 2022.
Project Location:
Beginning on VT Route 113 in the Town of Chelsea, at the intersection of VT Route 110 & VT Route 113 and extending easterly for a distance of 14.824 miles and ending at mile marker 0.805 in the Town of Thetford, at the intersection of VT Route 113 & VT Route 244.
