UPGRADING/ENLARGEMENT OF THE EXISTING PARK & RIDE FACILITY NEAR I-89 EXIT #7 IN BERLIN.

Project Location: State owned park-and-ride facility at the corner of Paine Turnpike North and Vermont Route 62 in the Town of Berlin.

Project Purpose: VTrans is reconstructing and expanding the existing park-and-ride facility to include new signage, pavement overlay, pavement markings, signage, drainage, landscaping, lighting, bus shelter, and widening of Paine Turnpike North.  During construction the park-and-ride facility will be closed.  A temporary park-and-ride location will set up at the Berlin Mall during this closure period.

Active construction will begin May 14, 2021.


The existing park-and-ride facility will be closed to all vehicles during construction.  A temporary park-and-ride facility will be available at the Berlin Mall throughout the duration of the project.
