INSTALLATION OF A LEFT-TURN LANE ON US2 WESTBOUND, AT THE US2/VT314 INTERSECTION IN SOUTH HERO. INCLUDES OTHER GENERAL SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS.
PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Route 2 and VT Route 314 in South Hero.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is improving the intersection of US Route 2 and VT Route 314 to improve mobility and safety. The project will:
•Reconstruct the intersection to include a new dedicated left turn lane on US Route 2 northbound.
•Replace an existing box culvert south of the intersection.
