STP 2920(1) Morristown

RESURFACE VT15A IN MORRISTOWN, BEGINNING 0.36 MILE EAST OF THE VT12 INTERSECTION AND EXTENDING EASTERLY 1.464 MILES TO THE VT15 INTERSECTION.

Project Location:

Beginning on VT Route 15A in the Town of Morristown, at the Class I/State Highway Limit (mile point 0.360) and extending easterly 1.464 miles and stopping at mile point 1.824 in the Town of Morristown at the intersection with VT Route 15.

Project Description:


Work to be performed under this project includes coarse-milling, reclaiming (FDR), correcting superelevation deficiencies, roadway grading with new gravel, resurfacing with intermediate and wearing courses of pavement, pavement markings, signage, guardrail, drainage and other highway related items.

It is also important to note that this project will be part of two larger composite contracts.  Johnson-Morristown STP 2919(1) project which is a larger resurfacing project located on VT Route 15 and Johnson STP 030-2(35) project which is slope remediation project on VT Route 15. 

Project Timeline:

Construction will begin in the spring of 2021. The majority of the work for this particular project will be completed in 2021.  No night work activities are planned as this time.
