Project Location:   

Beginning on VT Route 15 in the Town of Johnson, at mile point 4.431 and at point just east of Colins Hill Road and extending easterly 9.489 miles through the Town of Hyde Park and stopping at mile point 4.182 in the Town of Morristown.  Also, beginning on VT Route 100 (Historic VT 100) in the Town of Morristown at mile point 6.209, at the Class I/State Highway Limit, near Professional Drive and extending northerly 0.413 miles to the intersection with VT Route 15.

Project Description:

Work to be performed under this project includes coarse-milling, reclaiming (FDR), correcting superelevation deficiencies, roadway grading with new gravel, resurfacing with intermediate and wearing courses of pavement, pavement markings, signage, guardrail, drainage and other highway related items.  The scope of this project will also encompass a full intersection and signal upgrade at the intersection of VT Route 15 and Historic VT 100 in the Town of Morristown. 

It is important to note that this project will be part of a larger composite contract with the Morristown STP 2920(1) resurfacing project which is located on VT Route 15A and the Johnson STP 030-2(35) which is an isolated slope remediation project on VT Route 15.     

Project Timeline:

Construction will begin in the spring of 2021 and will conclude in the fall months of 2022.  The majority of work from the Hyde Park roundabout to the eastern limts of this project will be completed in 2021.  The majority of the work west of the Hyde Park roundabout will occur in 2022.  Night work activities within the project limts are not planned at this time.
