Project Location:

I-89 Southbound:  Beginning in the Town of Bethel at mile marker 25.359 and extending northerly along Interstate I-89 for a distance of 11.558 miles to mile marker 36.917 in the Town of Brookfield.  The project encompasses the the limits of the Exit 4 interchange in Randolph.

Project Scope:

Work to be performed under this project includes guardrail repair, surface preparation involving patching, pot hole repair, pavement milling and resurfacing along with other highway related items.

It is anticipated that the majority of the work will occur during day time hours.  This project is part of a larger composite contract with Bethel-Brookfield IM 089-1(72) which is located on the northbound direction of I-89 and also planned for the 2026 construction season. 

Project Timeline:

The project will begin construction activities in the spring of 2026 and will conclude in the fall of 2026.
