Emergent need on rock cut #1322 on I91 SB at MM 94.0.
Project will include removal of existing mesh material, hand scaling and removal of loose rock material, installation of rock dowels, and installation of a pinned and passive mesh system for stabilization.
Interstate 91 Southbound will be shutdown for five (5) weeks to perform scaling operations. Traffic will be detoured to US Route 5 from Exit 16 to Exit 15.
Rolling Roadblocks can be expected in Interstate 91 Northbound.
Following closure, Interstate 91 Southbound will be reduced to one (1) lane.
