Rehabilitation of Rock Cut #41 on I-91, in the southbound lane, at 92.55-92.60.
Following a rockfall event on February 28, 2024, mobilization to the site was necessary to stabilize the rockfall location. Stabilization measures includes tree clearing, removal of existing mesh, hand scaling of loose rock material and vegetation along the faces of the rock cut, and rock doweling installation to hold material in place.
Interstate 91 Southbound will be closed from Exit 16 in Bradford to Exit 15 in Fairlee. Southbound traffic will be detoured on to US5. Rolling roadblocks will be utilized on Interstate 91 Northbound during scaling operations.
