Project Location: Beginning in the Town of Barre on U.S. Route 302 at Mile Marker 0.000 (~3,000 ft West of Packard Street) and extending easterly along U.S. Route 302 for a distance of 3.359 miles and stopping at MM 3.359 (Barre City/Barre Town Town Line).

Project Description: Work to be performed under this project includes coarse-milling and resurfacing of the existing highway with a leveling course, wearing course, signage, new pavement markings and other highway related items.

The project is part of a larger contract with the Barre City STP PC27(2) project within the Barre City Class I Town Highway limits.

Preliminary Plans: October 16, 2026
Permitting: Spring 2027
Right-of-Way Clear: Spring 2027
Bid Advertisement: Fall 2027
Contract Award: Fall 2027
Target Construction Schedule: Spring 2028 - Fall 2028
