Project Location:

Beginning in the City of Montpelier on Montpelier State Highway/US Route 2 MM 0.000 (at the I-89 Exit 8 Interchange) and extends easterly for a distance of 0.851 miles ending at MM 0.851 (near Bailey Ave).

Project Scope:

Work to be preformed under this project includes coarse-milling bituminous pavement, resurfacing the existing highway with a leveling & wearing course, pavement markings, guardrail, drainage improvements, signs and other highway related items.  It is anticipated that this segment will be constructed during night time hours. 

This project is contracted with the Northfield-Berlin STP PS24(1) project which is located on VT Route 12 and Montpelier Junction State Highway (Dog River Road).

Project Timeline: 

The project will begin construction during the spring months of 2024 and end during the fall months of 2024.
