Rehabilitation of bridge # 8 on TH 12 in Troy.
Project Location: Town of Troy in Orleans County on TH 12 over Missisquoi River. The bridge is located approximately 0.06 mile from the junction with TH 22.
The Troy Bridge 8 project involves the replacement of the existing steel thru truss temporary bridge. The original covered bridge was built in 1910, rehabilitated in 2007, but was destroyed by fire in 2021. The structure currently has a deck rating of 8 (very good), superstructure rating of 8, and substructure rating of 7 (good). Overall, structure is in good shape.
