STP PS26(7) St. George

Resurfacing on VT 2A from St George MM 0 to Williston MM 3.880.

Project Location: Beginning on VT Route 2A in the Town of St. George at MM 0.000 (at the intersection with VT-116) and extending northerly along VT Route 2A for a distance of approximately 5.862 miles to MM 3.880 (several hundred feet past the Taft's Corner intersection) in the Town of Williston.

Project Description: Work will consist of course milling the existing pavement to a 2-1/4” depth, then placing a 1/2” lift of Type IVS pavement to level the road surface, followed by a 1-3/4” lift of Type IVS pavement as the final wearing surface, pavement markings and other highway related items. The project also includes earthwork items and activities to resolve drainage concerns within the project limits. It is anticipated that all work will occur during typical day time hours and will utilize periods of one-way alternating traffic. <
