work consists of shoulder reconstruction and widening of the roadway from 10-foot lanes and 2-foot shoulders to 11-foot lanes and 6-foot shoulders while also reclaiming the existing roadway with a stabilized base from West Haven MM 1.345 to Benson MM 1.326.
This project will include partial reconstruction, roadway reclaim, and shoulder reconstruction and widening beginning approximately ¾ of a mile north of the VT Route 22A intersection with Main Road in West Haven. This location is near where the existing road transitions from a section with wider shoulders to a section with narrower shoulders. The project extends North2.988 miles ending in Benson, just over one mile south of the VT Route 22A intersection with Mill Pond Road.
Traffic Management will be reviewed as project progresses through the design phases.
