Remediation of rock cut #033 located in Wallingford on VT 140 at tw mm 2.45.
The Wallingford STP 0138(14) project consists of ledge stabilization along VT Route 140 in Wallingford, VT. Portions of this ledge slope have failed 2005, 2016 and 2018 resulting in material reaching the roadway in some instances. Due to the nature of the rock cut, in addition to scaling off loose material the overall remediation will most likely be mechanical stabilization.
Traffic impacts will be determined during the Design process of the project.
