Project Advisory Committee: As part of Public Involvement Plan (PIP) a Project Advisory Committee (PAC) has been enacted because of the significance and complexity of the issues to provide public input to the Project Lead Team (PLT). The PLT consists of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans), consultant staff representing technical advisory staff, the Southwest Regional Planning Commission (NH) and the Windham Regional Commission (VT) staff to facilitate the process with NHDOT serving as the lead project implementer. The purpose of each PAC is to obtain input from committee and to facilitate the flow of information and ideas between committee members, communities, and public at-large.

The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) members are comprised of Brattleboro and Hinsdale town staff as well as Vermont and New Hampshire local and state elected officials, regional planning commission transportation advisory committee members and citizen stakeholders. The PAC serves in an advisory role and is anticipated to be involved with the project up until construction.
