HUBBARDTON VT-30
STP 0161(32) Hubbardton
REMOVAL OF LEDGE ALONG VT30 IN HUBBARDTON, BEGINNING 3.00 MILES NORTH OF THE CASTLETON-HUBBARDTON TOWN LINE EXTENDING NORTHERLY 0.13 MILE. WORK INCLUDES CLEARING, ROCK REMOVAL, SCALING AND INSTALLATION OF A ROCKFALL CATCHMENT FENCE.
The Hubbardton STP 0161(32) project is a 900-foot slope stabilzation along VT Route 30 which has historically experienced rockfalls requiring the need for barriers to be placed along the edge of pavement to protect the roadway from these occurences. Treatment of this slope will consist of scaling loose material from the face and installation of rock dowels and a pinned wire mesh.
It is anticipated that a one-lane closure will be required during construction.
