REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE NO. 15 ON FAS 0209 (BROWNS TRACE RD.) IN JERICHO, OVER MILL BROOK.
Project Location: Town of Jericho in Chittenden County on TH 4 over Mill Brook. Bridge 15 is a Town-owned bridge, located approximately 3.3 miles north of the junction with US Route 2.
The Jericho Bridge 15 project includes the replacement of the existing single span concrete T-beam bridge. The existing structure has a length of 39 feet and a width of 35 feet. The structure currently has a deck rating of 6 (Satisfactory), a superstructure rating of 5 (Fair), and a substructure rating of 5 (Fair). This bridge was constructed in 1927, and reconstructed in 1962.
Traffic will be maintained on an offsite detour during a 45 day brdge closure.
