STP 0113(65) Lyndon

RECONSTRUCTION OF US5 IN LYNDON, BEGINNING 1.87 MILES NORTH OF THE ST. JOHNSBURY TOWN LINE AND EXTENDING NORTHERLY 0.77 MILE.

The Lyndon STP 0113(65) project consists of the full-depth reconstruction of US Route 5 beginning at the intersection of Red Village Road and extending to the Class 1 Town Highway line, just South of Rose Lane.  The underlying concrete slabs will be removed and replaced with select materials to improve and extend the highway life span. 

As part of the project, extensive Left-turn only lanes will be created on to Town Highways, access management will be improved, as well as the addition of many pedestrian facilities including sidewalks and bike lanes.  Drainage improvements will also be included as part of the project. 


Traffic impacts will be evaluated as design progresses.
